Join us and help continue to positively impact thousands of youth.
What Makes Working Here Unique?
Base Camp is the first, and only, urban adventure program of its kind. There are other youth development programs in the Twin Cities, but we are set apart by our incredible facility. Constructed in 1907 as a cavalry drill hall our 35,000 square foot building provides the perfect environment for incredible experiences. The first thing you notice is our 30 foot, simulated natural rock wall with 16 distinct routes. Opposite the rock wall is our indoor high ropes course. With these two features, youth can experience these challenges year-round! Base Camp also has an indoor archery range, one of only eight Space Shuttle Simulators in the world, and outdoor climbing towers and high ropes course.
The real value of Base Camp comes from our phenomenal staff who take activities and turn them into educational experiences. We build confidence and self-esteem, foster teamwork and leadership, and develop planning and problem solving skills.
If you have the experience and desire to shape the next generation of youth then we want to meet you!
